Veronica Valdez, Esq.

SVP Strategic Partnerships - Universities, Corporations & Government

“To whom much is given, much is required” is a guiding principle for Veronica Valdez, Esq., reflected in her career and passion for small business development. Currently, she serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Zoetic Global, where she leverages her extensive experience to foster collaborations between universities, corporations, and government entities.

Previously, as Vice President - Minority & Small Business, Entrepreneurship & Capital Programs for Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI), Veronica led initiatives aimed at empowering minority and small businesses across Florida. Her efforts included launching campaigns to connect these businesses with essential resources for capital access, market entry, and job creation.

Veronica's legal expertise, honed through years of practice, complements her dedication to small business growth. She has owned JJ Whispers Group and served as Senior Partner at Valdez Law Group, providing consulting services on best practices, operations, cash flow, and brand loyalty. Her tenure as managing partner of Veronica Valdez Entertainment further equipped her with skills in marketing and relationship management.

In 2021, she established the Minority and Small Business Boot Camp, an 11-session webinar series that attracted over 1,800 registrants from 15 states and six countries, providing vital tools for business success.
A native of Miami, Florida, Veronica holds a law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Her leadership roles during her academic years include serving as UF Student Body Vice President and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority President, earning her accolades such as UF Who’s Who Among American College and University Students and induction into the UF Hall of Fame.

Veronica is a Florida Bar member in good standing and has held positions such as past president of the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter National Bar Association and a member of Leadership Orlando Class 101. She contributes to the State Advisory Board for the Florida SBDC Network and the Board of Trustees for Saint Mark AME Church in Orlando, Florida.

In recognition of her impact, Veronica was named a 2022 Onyx Magazine Woman on the Move, honoring Black women trailblazers who drive positive change in their communities and professions. Her commitment to minority and small business development continues to be a labor of love and a testament to her role as a change agent.
